When you Refer-A-Friend to Shentel, you can receive:

  • Up to $100 Bill Credit per qualified referral.
  • Up to $600 in bill credits in a calendar year when you refer eligible friends or family to Shentel.

Shentel Refer-A-Friend is a referral program that rewards existing and new customers.

  • Can earn $100 bill credit per qualified referral and up to $600 total bill credits in a calendar year when they refer eligible friends and family members.
  • Issued as $10 credit per month for 10 months.
Friends (Person Referred)
  • Can earn $100 bill credit if they install qualifying service(s).
  • After activating the referral through the email communication, the person referred can sign up for qualifying services online.
  • Issued as $10 credit per month for 10 months.

How do I participate in the Shentel Refer-A-Friend program?

To participate you must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Have an active residential Shentel account in good standing and remain in good standing throughout the referral process.
  • Refer friends through the specified landing page using the link provided in the email.

To refer friends:

  1. Click on the link provided in the email sent to you.
  2. Complete all the information on the form.
  3. When referring your friend, use the email address your friend will use to sign up for service.
  4. The person you referred will receive an email letting them know they have been referred and if they sign up within 30 days you will be eligible to receive a $100 bill credit.
  5. Once your friend has had service installed and remained a customer in good standing for 60 days, both you and your friend will be issued a $10 bill credit for 10 months totaling $100.

What services qualify for a reward with the Shentel Refer-A-Friend program?

Shentel Internet Service (200 Mbps or higher).

How do I get rewarded?

For both customers to receive a reward, the referred customer:

  • Cannot be an existing customer within the past 120 days and must install qualifying services within 30 days of the referral.
  • Must activate the referral through the email communication and order Shentel internet service online.
  • Must maintain qualifying service for 60 consecutive days after installation.
  • Must have an account in good standing for 60 days.

Note: The referring customer must also remain in good standing for 60 days.

  • Once all requirements are met, both referring and referred customers will receive a confirmation email.
  • A $10 bill credit will be issued each month for 10 months, totaling $100.

When will I receive my $100 Bill Credit?

Bill credits will be issued after:

  • All program requirements have been met.
  • Your friend has maintained their eligible service for the required 60-day period.

Can I combine this with other offers?

Yes, this offer can be combined with other Shentel promotional offers.

What does it mean for my account to be in good standing?

For your Shentel account to be considered in good standing, it cannot have an unpaid balance or be temporarily disconnected.

Where can I find my customer number?

Your customer number is located on your paper bill. You can also find it in your online account. Sign in to your account on Shentel.com, click Pay Bill, and you will see your customer number at the top of the page.

Who can I call if I do not receive my credit?

Please call 1-800-SHENTEL to speak to customer service. We will confirm whether all requirements have been met and apply the credit if necessary.

Are Glo Fiber or Shentel employees eligible to participate?

No. Employees of Glo Fiber or its parent company Shentel are not eligible to receive rewards as a referrer or a referee.

The Referred Customer must install or activate Shentel service within 30 days from the referral date, and both the Referring and Referred Customers must remain in good standing for 60 consecutive days following service activation before a bill credit is awarded.
