“These promotions are another step toward integrating our operations as we move forward in our acquisition of NTELOS Holdings Corp.,” said MacKenzie. “Shentel is fortunate to have an experienced bench to pull from as we do the work necessary to make a smooth transition.”

On Aug. 10, Shentel reached an agreement to acquire NTELOS Holdings Corporation (nTelos), a provider of wireless communications services in portions of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Kentucky.  As a result of this transaction, current nTelos customers will become Shentel customers under the Sprint brand.
