Edinburg, VA – August 13, 2014 – Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel) (NASDAQ: SHEN) announced today a new agreement with Pursuit Channel, America’s most widely distributed hunting, fishing, shooting television network, adding this exciting programming to roughly 60,000 households in the area.

“We are excited to add the Pursuit Channel to our cable lineup and look forward to the entertainment options that their programming will provide to our customers” said Tom Whitaker, Vice President of Cable for Shentel. “Traditions like hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities are a big part of our area, and Pursuit Channel’s television offerings give customers another way to stay in tune with some of their favorite hobbies.”

Pursuit Channel will be available to Shentel cable customers as part of the Fans Choice package starting on or after Aug. 19. Fans Choice is a package of channels that offers a variety of programming — from the fields and streams of Pursuit Channel to the football fields of NFL RedZone.

“This part of the country is alive with hunting and fishing opportunity and vibrant outdoors enthusiasts,” said Rusty Faulk, Founder and CEO of Pursuit Channel. “We’re very pleased to add new viewers to the Pursuit Channel experience via Shentel’s Fans Choice package.”

In order to receive Fans Choice, Shentel Cable TV customers must be subscribed to the Ultimate TV package. Fans Choice is an additional $5.95 per month.
