Shentel sponsors entertainment at Rural Retreat Heritage Day

Shentel, a local provider of Phone, Digital TV and High-Speed Internet, is proud to announce that it is the presenting sponsor of the annual Rural Retreat Heritage Days festival to be held July 26-27.
As the presenting sponsor, Shentel will welcome a variety of bands to Rural Retreat High School and the Dr. Pepper Stage. Entertainment starts at 6 p.m. Friday, July 26, at RRHS featuring The Richs, The Churchmen and The Browders.
On Saturday, July 27, entertainment on Dr. Pepper Stage starts at noon. First up is Bud Pollard, followed by Travis Johnson, the SWVA Cloggers and Rose in Paradise. Also playing Saturday night is country rock band Raven Cliff, and the Grammy-Winning Bellamy Brothers, famous for their pop country songs like “Let Your Love Flow” and “If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body, Would You Hold it Against Me?”
“We are excited to be part of this event in Rural Retreat,” said Angela Washington, marketing manager, Shentel. “Shentel is working hard to bring the clearest voice, the sharpest TV and the fastest Internet to our new customers in Rural Retreat. Participating in Heritage Days is a way to let folks know we are happy to be part of the Rural Retreat community.”
