Edinburg, Va. – March 1, 2012 – Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel) (NASDAQ: SHEN), an established provider of broadband services for Internet, phone and television, announces that it is providing free WiFi Internet access to vendors and exhibitors at the sixth annual Greater Mountain Lakes Area Home & Garden Show. The Home & Garden Show is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 18, at the Summersville Armory & Convention Center (3 Army Way) in Summersville, W.Va.

“With the ability to connect to Shentel’s high-speed Internet service, exhibitors do not have to worry about bringing their own mobile broadband access air cards or arranging for a connection at the venue in order to enhance their displays,” said Matt Krueger, Marketing Manager, Shentel. “Through our continued support and participation in this popular, family-friendly event, we look forward to interacting with customers, new and old, at the Shentel booth.”

Attendees are invited to stop by Shentel’s booth to learn more about the company’s latest broadband offerings, including high-speed Internet, home phone, and digital television service with options for adding high-definition channels and digital video recording (DVR) capabilities.

Attracting about 3,000 people every year, the 2012 Greater Mountain Lakes Home & Garden Show will incorporate the theme, “Think Spring –Go Green.” The two-day show features more than 50 regional vendors showcasing crafts, home décor, lawn care equipment, home building supplies, as well as family entertainment, food, door prizes and giveaways.
