Shentel to Exhibit Products and Services at Summersville Home & Garden Show

Attendees Can Register to Win Prizes, Including a High-Definition TV, at the 4th Annual Greater Mountain Lakes Area Home & Garden Show

Edinburg, Va. – March 4, 2010 – Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel) (NASDAQ: SHEN), with over 100 years of experience providing telephone, Internet and cable television services, today announced that it will demonstrate its products and services at the 4th annual Greater Mountain Lakes Area Home & Garden Show in Summersville, W.Va. The Home & Garden Show, presented by Premium Stone Surfaces, will take place March 20, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and March 21, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the Summersville Armory.

Attendees can stop by Shentel’s booth and register to win prizes like a High-Definition (HD) LCD TV, wireless routers, a flat screen Dell computer monitor and more.

Shentel will be one of 60 regional businesses with a booth at the Home & Garden Show. There, Shentel will exhibit its High Definition television service and high-speed Internet service. Representatives from Shentel will be on hand to provide information and answer questions about the latest service offerings, including digital home phone, which will roll out in 2010.

The Home & Garden Show attracts about 3,000 people in the Greater Mountain Lakes area for a weekend of crafts, home improvement demonstrations, antiques, door prizes, giveaways, food, a rock wall and face painting.
