Shentel Introduces “Triple-Play” Services Combo in Glenville

Subscribers Can Now Get More, Save More, With Shentel Home Phone, Cable and High-Speed Internet

Edinburg, Va. – April 29, 2010 – Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel) (NASDAQ: SHEN), with over 100 years of experience providing telephone, Internet and cable television services, announced that customers in Glenville can bundle new Premium Home/Business Phone and Premium Home Phone Unlimited packages with Shentel’s existing cable TV and Internet services. Together, the combination of phone, cable TV and Internet form a “triple play” of services for savings and quality telecommunications.

Shentel customers can choose between two new phone packages: Premium Home/Business Phone and Premium Home Phone Unlimited. For $24.95 per month, Shentel’s Premium Home Phone and Premium Business Phone packages offer expanded local calling, long distance calls for 4 cents a minute, enhanced caller ID, call waiting with caller ID, eight programmable speed-dial numbers and voicemail that is accessible from anywhere. For $49.95 per month, Shentel’s Premium Home Phone Unlimited package provides unlimited nationwide calling (including the continental U.S., Hawaii and Canada), 30 programmable speed-dial numbers, three-way calling, caller ID blocker and wake up/reminder calls.

In Glenville, Shentel customers have been enjoying instant – not dial-up – Internet connectivity, unlimited high-speed Internet access at speeds of 3Mbit/sec, up to five e-mail addresses, and a free modem. Glenville customers can select from packages that include nearly 300 channels, with the option of adding High Definition (HD) TV and Digital Video Recorder (DVR) functions.
